Your Voice Matters

Community engagement will shape every phase of this work! From initial discovery through plan adoption, we're planning lots of fun, accessible ways for residents, businesses, community organizations, and neighbors to participate. The ideas you share will directly guide key outputs like the Vision and Guiding Principles, Existing Conditions Report, Preferred Alternatives, to the Draft and Final Plan and Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

There are many ways for you to share your voice and help shape Walnut Creek's future!

Here's What to Look Out For

Throughout the project, there will be a mix of in-person and online activities to make it as easy and fun as possible for you to get involved. No prior experience with General Plans needed!
